The 2-seater Chairlift Mittager reaches the Mittager peak above the tree-line at 2.260 metres both during the winter and the summer.
Once there, visitors are rewarded with an impressive panorama of South Tyrol’s mountains as well as the most famous Dolomite peaks.
Attention: the Chairlift Mittager is also accessible to pedestrians.
The 3-seater Chairlift Piffing connects both areas of the skiing resort Merano 2000 during the winter. It is also accessible to pedestrians.

The 4-seater Chairlift St. Oswald guarantees for a comfortable ride as a protective hood shields its passengers from the wind and the cold. The chairlift is opened only during the winter.
The old 2-seater Chairlift 'Wallpach' was constructed in 1981 in the outer part of the ski area. The lift brought skiers to the mountain station of Merano 2000. In the summer months of 2018 the old lift was dismantled and replaced by the new 'Wallpach' lift.
The new 6-seater Chairlift Wallpach is ca. 900 meters long and has a maximal transportation capacity of 2.200 persons per hour. It opened in December of 2018.
The mountain community of Vöran/Verano, situated on the Tschögglberg Mountain Plateau, is one of the sunniest areas in all of South Tyrol. Here, the sun rises earlier and sets later than down in the valleys. Vöran is a real hiking paradise today.You can reach Vöran from the village of Burgstall/Postal, between Meran and Bolzan, in just five minutes by the NEW cable car. Bus stop near the valley station in Burgstall (bus line "Bozen-Meran" or "Citybus Lana").

The Gondola Falzeben starts from Falzeben/Avelengo and leads to the mountain station of Merano 2000.A ride on the Gondola Falzeben is comfortable, quick and offers a fantastic panoramic view of the surrounding alpine scenery.
The Outdoor Kids Camp is located at the mountain station of Merano 2000. The young ones will be able to gain their first skiing experiences thanks to the 'magic carpets' and with the help of the many ski instructors.
The sun-soaked hiking and skiing area of Merano 2000 is an inviting option to swap the city for the mountains. The combination of an award-winning architecture and sustainable mobility results in one of the most modern and innovative ropeway systems of the Alps: it carries up to 120 persons per cabin right into the heart of the skiing and hiking area at 2.000 meters of altitude.

At the Outdoor Kids Camp, directly at the mountain station Merano 2000, there are three magic carpets and flat, wide runs for beginners. Kids also have loads of other possibilities to enjoy the snow: skiing, playing, and having fun with other children.
Located in the inner part of the skiing area along the Oswald-Slope and close to the Waidmann Alpine Cottage, the Snowpark Merano 2000 awaits brave Snowboarders and Freestylers.

Its moderate difficulty level and the outstanding climate of Merano 2000 make the cross-country trail in Falzeben an ideal circuit for beginners, children, and recreational cross-country skiers. The trail is suitable for both skating as well as classic style cross-country skiing.

There is also a perfectly groomed sled run, which leads across a gorgeous larch meadow, for children and families on the Leadner Alm Alp Inn above Verano/Vöran. The run is easy to reach by car in winter, and there are places to eat in the immediate vicinity.
No funicular!
A toboggan hike is the right winter fun for every age.
The natural toboggan track is very popular among families as well as groups. It starts next to the mountain station of Merano 2000 from where it runs downhill for about 3 kilometers through the snowy winter forest until it reaches the base station of the Gondola Falzeben after plenty of turns. To reach the start of the track again, just take a comfortable ride in the Gondola.
Both at the mountain and the base station you will find rentals for toboggans.
The natural toboggan run is also a walking trail and starts at the Vöraner Alm mountain hut. The run leads through meadows and forests to the Leadner Alm mountain hut. The starting point can be reached with a pleasant hike (about 1,5 hours).
