Altmauerfest
Tradition & festivals
29.-31.05.2025
Auer/Ora
From May 29 to 31, Auer will be filled with people, music, and entertainment. Thousands of visitors are expected to attend the twelfth edition of the festival in the heart of Auer.
Three days of celebrations will take place in the picturesque streets of the historic center, featuring 9 booths, a wide range of culinary and musical offerings, and around 900 volunteers involved in organizing what has become the most important event in the South Tyrol Lowlands over the years.
A Culinary Festival: The Altmauerfest is a true gastronomic festival. There is no village festival that offers such a diverse selection of dishes. From traditional specialties to international cuisine, from grilled meats to fish and paella—there is something for every taste! This year, particular attention has again been given to environmental protection, highlighted by the slogan "Be cool, don’t waste." Food and drinks will be served using sustainable materials and glass cups, aiming to inspire other event organizers to adopt zero-impact practices. It’s not hard to make a difference—you just have to want to.
Live Music & DJs: As always, the musical lineup will be outstanding: Over 20 music groups will perform across various stages during the three-day festival. The musical diversity will be impressive, ranging from folk music to rock, pop, and DJs who will keep the crowd dancing.
