With the Chairlift Kesselberg the Kesselberg hut on 2,300 meters can be reached. After a short break the descent on two larghe pists of medium difficulty can be enjoyed.

The Mittager two-seater chairlift, which is the highest-altitude chairlift at Merano 2000, goes up above the tree line at an elevation of 2,260 metres to Mittager Peak — even in the summer. Once there, the visitor is rewarded with an impressive panorama of South Tyrol’s mountains. The view of the most famous Dolomite peaks in the distance is unparalleled.
The chairlift Mittager is open in winter and also in summer.

The Chairlift Piffing connects both areas of the skiing resort Merano 2000.
The new chairlift St. Oswald guarantees a comfortable ride because a cupola protects against strong wind and cold. It is open only in winter and not accessible for pedestrians.
The chairlift Wallpach is located on the main area of the skiing resort and brings the skiers on the mountain station Merano 2000.
The mountain community of Verano/Voeran, situated on the Monzoccolo Plateau, is one of the sunniest areas in all of South Tyrol. Here, the sun rises earlier and sets later than down in the valleys. Verano is a real hiking paradise today.You can reach Verano from the village of Postal/Burgstall, between Merano and Bolzano, in just five minutes by the NEW cable car. Bus stop near the valley station in Postal (bus line "Merano-Bolzano" or "Citybus Lana").
The Merano 2000 ski and hiking area is accessible from the town of Merano in just a few minutes, via private car or cable car. For those coming by car, there is a large parking lot at Falzeben/Avelengo below Meran 2000.From there, the new endless-rope cableway leads to Piffing, where both the Alpine Bob ride and the summit station of the gondola lift are located.A ride on the Falzeben cableway is convenient, quick—and above all, fun. The swift ride is very comfortable, and offers wonderful panoramic views of the Alpine scenery.

At the Kinderland the smaller ones will embrace their first skiing experience on the snow kindergarden “magic carpets” and with the help of the many ski instructor.
The sun-soaked hiking and skiing area ofMerano 2000 is an inviting option to swap the city for the mountains, with a swift 7 minute ropeway journey that will take you right on to the sunny terrace of Merano. Award-winning architecture and sustainable mobility in one of the most modern and innovative uplift systems in the Alps: It carries 120 persons per cabin ut to an elevation of 2,000 metres - right into the heart of the skiing and hiking area.

At the Outdoor Kids Camp, directly at the summit station of the cable car, there are three moving walkways and flat, wide runs for beginners. There kids have enough possibilities to enjoy snow: skiing, playing, coasting and having fun with other children. The kids are supervised all day long at Mini Ski Club and at the ski school.

Located in the rear part of the skiing area on the Oswald-Slope, close to the Waidmann Alpine Cottage, the NEW SNOWPARK MERANO 2000 awaits brave Snowboarders and Freestylers.
An ambitious project with many kicks, rails, tubes and boxes for newcomers and pros alike. You can reach the Jump Zone from the mountain station of the Ropeway by using the chairlift Piffing.
It goes up and down. An ideal warm-up run
A moderate difficulty level and the wonderful climate of Merano 2000 make the cross-country trail in Falzeben an ideal circuit for beginners, children, and recreational cross-country skiers. The trail is suitable for the skating and classic style of cross-country skiing alike.
There is also a perfectly groomed sled run, which leads across a gorgeous larch meadow, for children and families on the Leadner Alm Alp Inn above Verano/Vöran. The run is easy to reach by car in winter, and there are places to eat in the immediate vicinity.
The natural toboggan run is also a walking trail and starts at the Vöraner Alm mountain hut. The run leads through meadows and forests to the Leadner Alm mountain hut. The starting point can be reached with a pleasant hike (about 1,5 hours).
A toboggan hike is the right winter fun for every age.
